Community Living Camp Day 3

DAY 3 

14 FEBRUARY 2024 

The day started with yoga. The first session of the day was a visit at karyavattam. The name of the program was E TIMES. It was session for the society. We got a group of women who were not related to this new digital era. Most of them where housewives and avar duty was to teach them small things like downloading music , online transactions etc. Renjitha and I was a group and we got a mother want to learn how to download videos to put them as WhatsApp status. We taught her it and after learning it she herself download a video and put it as her status. It was a happy moment that we saw smile in her face. 

Second program of the day was a visit to Gandhi Bhavan and ammathottil at Thycaud. In Gandhi Bhavan we so several pictures related to Gandhiji and different informations related to his life experiences. Then we went to Ammathottil, which was an institution providing better life for children. There we got an opportunity to know about the rules and regulations related to the institution. The last programme of the day was a survey on waste management. We visited Rajaji Nagar near Thycaud and make them aware about waste and how to manage it. After all this programs we reached our college at 5:00 p.m. After a tea break restarted making kite. It was a nice day which pay me an opportunity to interact with the society.
